Mr. Gossling is one of BLAZE's founding Partners and has over 20 years of experience in the Geomatics industry. A licensed Professional Land Surveyor and a former Director of Northway-Photomap Inc., (one of the largest photogrammetric mapping firms in Eastern Canada), he brings a unique perspective on the industry to the corporation. His primary day-to-day responsibilities include project management, human resource development and strategic plan implementation.

Steve has considerable large scale project management experience in automated titles systems, cadastral and underground surveys as well as digital mapping and data conversion. He was the Site Manager for the original POLARIS implementation project in Sudbury where he supervised a team of twenty searchers and records entry staff in the conversion of over 8 000 properties to the automated system.

He also championed and managed an in-house project to convert 15 000 paper plans used in a cadastral survey practice to digital form enabling them to be viewed and printed over a network. This application is currently being assessed for possible expansion to include almost 100 years of field note records, spatial indexing and Internet delivery to the user community.
