For the past 5 years, BLAZE has provided INCO Limited with various exploration, utility, cadastral and environmental map / plan files in various GIS and CAD formats. Recently we designed a Spatial Hyper Indexing Application that organizes and maintains these maps. Implemented as a corporate client/server solution each client user is able to quickly locate and view the mapping information by either a point and click method or through simple fill in the blank queries. The Engineering department is able to maintain the maps via an intuitive and easy to use GUI.

Specific tasks included the provision of consulting services to perform a User need's analysis and Business process analysis and GIS application definition. Project planning for client/server implementation of solution. The compilation and maintenance of cadastral, planimetric and topographic maps. Development of Logical and Physical Database design and implementation. The development of customized software development using NUCOR MapDataBase GIS and dBase IV. The implementation of client/server solution and on-going consulting services.
