Geology of Ontario (GoO Maps) 1:1,000,000 Mapping Project
Ministry of Northern Development and Mines, Sudbury, Ontario (1995 - 96)

This project consisted of producing a vector digital base map of Geology of Ontario at a scale of 1:1,000,000. The four source base maps were hardcopy map sheets that were represented on a total of 62 separate Mylar overlays. All map features on those sheets had to be captured according into the Ministry's specifications developed for this project and all digitized themes had to be precisely registered to underlying layers and the final digital files had to be topologically correct. The final files were then delivered in AutoCAD ver. 12 format.
